Jax e Jami viveram um tórrido romance no passado que foi interrompido inesperadamente por Jax sem nenhuma explicação, deixando Jami de coração partido. Eles não esperavam que seus caminhos se cruzassem de novo graças a Mason, irmão da garota. Mason foi o protagonista do livro 1 da série e trabalha produzindo a banda de Jax.
Por conta de toda a mudança de vida do irmão, Jami vai procurá-lo para tentar fazer ele voltar atrás na decisão de desistir da carreira promissora que tinha numa grande gravadora.Por ironia do destino, Jami é contratada como advogada da banda de seu irmão.
É nesse momento que Jax e Jami se reencontram e descobrem que a paixão que pensavam estar extinta ainda pulsa forte em seus corações. O único problema é que as barreiras que foram colocadas entre eles ainda estão firmes e fortes e restará a eles a escolha de derrubá-las ou não.
O livro tem uma história legal e tudo ,com cenas sensuais bem hot mas não conectei com o casal . Ela está confusa ,tentando se tornar uma advogada de respeito mas sem se valorizar perante os colegas de trabalho e a família e ele vive na eterna sombra de que não é digno para ela por ter largado a faculdade e ter se tornado tatuador e baterista. Achei um pouco repetitiva essa questão dos dois e demorei a me envolver com a trama. Do meio para o fim a história ganha um ritmo melhor graças a um segredo que assombra Jax que me deixou super curiosa.
Ainda assim achei o livro 1 mais alucinante e envolvente. Em compensação a capa tem tudo a ver com o casal.
Se você gosta de casais com uma química explosiva e de livros sobre segundas chances e cheio de romance, esta é o livro para você.

Jax and Jami lived a torrid romance in the past that was unexpectedly interrupted by Jax without any explanation, leaving Jami heartbroken. They did not expect their paths to cross again thanks to Mason, the girl's brother. Mason was the protagonist of book 1 of the series and works producing the Jax 's band.
Because of all the changes in his brother's life, Jami goes to Mason to try to make him go back on his decision to give up the promising career he had on a major label. For irony of destiny, Jami is hired as a lawyer for his brother's band .
It is at this moment that Jax and Jami meet again and discover that the passion they thought was extinct still pulsates in their hearts. The only problem is that the barriers that have been placed between them are still firm and strong and they will have to choose to knock them down or not.
The book has a cool story and everything, with really hot sexy scenes but I did not connect with the couple. She is confused, trying to become a respected lawyer but does not value herself to her co-workers and family and he lives in the eternal shadow of being unworthy of her for dropping out of law college and becoming a tattoo artist and drummer. I found this question a bit repetitive, and it took me a long time to get involved with the plot. From the middle to the end the story gets a better rhythm thanks to a secret that haunts Jax that made me super curious.
I still found book 1 more hallucinating and eletric but this one is good in someways.
In compensation the cover has everything to do with the couple. Perfect
If you like couples with explosive chemistry and books about second chances and full of romance, this is the book for you.
