Se apaixonar por um colega de trabalho nunca é simples, especialmente quando Sadie está decidida a manter todos afastados . Sem mencionar seu ex-namorado persistente que não a deixará sozinha. Mas eu nunca fui bom em desistir e eu não planejo começar agora.

A coisa toda é uma caminho por uma estrada rochosa, mas eu pretendo insistir e provar todo o pote de sorvete, não importando se meu cérebro congelará .

Meghan Quinn acertou em cheio meu coração com um romance gostoso, fofo, leve e com uma forte mensagem de força às mulheres. Além de tudo isso me deu de presente o melhor nerd bookboyfriend que já tive na vida toda ,inteirinha...... Uma delícia.....

Andrew resolveu mudar de faculdade depois de ganhar uma certa fama na faculdade que estava cursando que não o agradou muito menos a seus pais. Decidido a não deixar seu pai controlar sua vida, muda de cidade e mesmo indo morar num cubículo com cinco garotas barra pesada, otimista como é, enxerga tudo com olhos maravilhados e esperançosos até se deparar com a carrancuda e fria Sadie.

Sadie está vivendo um momento muito dificil , resolvida a esquecer o passado se fecha em sua concha apenas deixando seus antigos amigos chegarem perto. Quando é obrigada a treinar o ingênuo Andrew sobre como montar taças de sorvete maravilhosas no restaurante em que trabalha, ela se depara com o desafio de não deixar o novo cara nerd e hot derrubar as muralhas que cuidadosamente ergueu envolta de si.

Andrew aos poucos de revela um ótimo companheiro que alegra todos os ambientes em que transita e vê em Sadie o desafio de conquistar a única pessoa que parece não gostar dele.

Andrew aos poucos vai conhecendo os amigos de Sadie e essa aproximação mexe com a garota que não está acostumada com gente nova na turma e o que era um desafio se torna uma conquista cheia de cenas sensuais e muita entrega. Tem uma cena com sorvete que MEU DEUS DO CÉU......o que foi aquilo? Estou suando até agora.....

O livro é cheio de momentos engraçados e sérios , alternando o ponto de vista de cada protagonista, mostrando bem o que cada um sente em relação ao outro.

Achei super interessante a analogia feita pela escritora com os nomes de Sadie e sua amiga Smilly pois realmente uma é o oposto da outra. Sadie ( lembrando sad que é triste em inglês) raramente sorri enquanto Smilly ,melhor amiga de Sadie( é a verdadeira garota sorriso) vive sorrindo,fazendo brincadeiras e dando apelidos doidos aos amigos.

A capa foi muito bem escolhida tanto pelo modelo como pela pose que passa bem essa imagem de nerd gostoso derretendo o coração gelado da garota.

Me surpreendeu....

Meghan Quinn hit my heart with a hot, sweet and light romance and with a strong message of how woman need to be strong. In addition to all this, she gave me the best nerd bookboyfriend of my entire , whole life ...... A delight .....

Andrew decided to change of college after gaining a certain fame in the college that was studying that did not please his parents much less him. Determined not to let his father control his life, he changes the city and even going to live in a cubicle with five strange heavy girls , optimistic as he is, he sees everything with wondering and hopeful eyes until he faces the frowning and cold Sadie.

Sadie is living a very difficult time in her life, resolved to forget the past , she closes in herself in a shell just letting her old friends get close. When she is forced to train the naive Andrew on how to set up wonderful ice cream bowls in the restaurant where she works, she is faced with the challenge of not letting the new nerd and hot dude knock down the walls she carefully erected wrapped around her.

Andrew slowly reveals a great companion who cheer all the environments in which he transits and sees in Sadie the challenge of conquering the only person who does not seem to like him.

Andrew slowly gets to know Sadie's friends and this approach surprise the girl who is not accustomed to new people in her group of friends and what a challenge becomes a conquest full of sensual scenes and much surrender. There is a scene with ice cream that MY GOD OF HEAVEN ...... what was that? I'm sweating til now .....

The book is full of funny and serious moments, alternating the point of view of each protagonist, showing well what each one feels in relation to the other.

I found the analogy made by the writer with the names of Sadie and her friend Smilly very interesting because one really is the opposite of the other. Sadie rarely smiles while Smilly, Sadie's best friend lives smiling, making jokes and giving crazy nicknames to their friends.

The cover was very well chosen both by the model and by the pose that goes well this image of sexy nerd melting the ice heart of the girl.

Surprised me....
