Synopsis
Lucas Taggart is the best con man in the business, so to speak.

A former-geek-turned-hottie, Luke is now an image consultant and life coach to the rich and privileged in New York City. His eight-week program is designed to transform ugly ducklings into swans by instilling some much-needed confidence, and hey, a makeover never hurts.

Sinopse

Mas quando Ainsley Carrington se inscreve como cliente, o mundo de Luke é virado de cabeça para cima. Ainsley não precisa de um consultor de imagem; Sua imagem já é perfeita do jeito que é. Luke imediatamente encontra-se lutando com sua atração pela bela e introvertida com todas as suas inseguranças antigas borbulhando de volta para ele.

Felizmente, sua nova amiga Mia está por perto para ajudá-lo. Logo o auto- suficiente coach torna-se um jogador enquanto limites são ultrapassados e o profissionalismo é jogado fora da janela.

Quando eu peguei este livro nunca imaginei que me depararia com verdadeiro momento Ratatoulle, lembrando com alegria e diversão filmes que embalaram minha adolescência lá pelos anos 80 e 90....Principalmente Admiradora Secreta (Secret Admirer)
Não me chamem de velha,hein?! Mas para mim foi a melhor safra de filmes adolescentes , cheio de momentos açucarados e românticos. Infelizmente hoje é dificil achar muito deles, ja procurei muitos para ver de novo com minha filhas e nada.....

Enfim....Amei !

Luke faz o tipo galã-geek- hot irresistível ,imagem que ele criou para si mesmo depois de sofrer muito na adolescência e juventude como um patinho feio. Ao perceber o potencial de sua mudança resolve montar uma empresa para melhorar a imagem de pessoas com baixa auto-estima .
Sua auto-confiança cai por terra quando se encanta por sua nova cliente Ainsley, uma garota linda e atraente, extremamente tímida e que deseja mudar sua imagem para encontrar o "cara para casar".

Mesmo não estando na mesma página de Ainsley, ele começa a agir com um adolescente cheio de hormônio e em todas as aulas que dá a garota ,ele se derrete e vê vários sinais de ela está interessada tambem acreditando que está cada vez mais apaixonado.

Como não namora suas clientes, aguarda ansioso o fim das aulas para se declarar, enquanto isso ele se aproxima da extrovertida Mia, garota latina ,cheia de curvas e esperta que não se derrete pelo charme de Luke e junto com Jared, um de seus clientes, vivem alguns momentos mais hilários do livro.

O livro me surpreendeu como já tinha dito e do meio para o fim ,a história se transforma de tal forma que me deixou no chão. A escritora construiu muito bem a trama e com uma linguagem simples e divertida me levou a torcer muito para que Luke abrisse os olhos e percebesse como tinha tudo o que queria bem ali na sua frente.

When I got this book I never imagined that I would meet a true "Ratatoulle" moment, remembering with joy and fun films that rocked my adolescence back in the 80s and 90s .... Mainly Secret Admirer ,1985.
Do not call me old, huh ?! But for me it was the best crop of teen movies, full of sugary and romantic moments. Unfortunately today it is difficult to find many of them, I have already looked for many to see again with my daughters and nothing .....

Anyway .... I loved this!

Luke is the irresistible hot-geek guy, an image he created for himself after suffering so much in his teens and youth as an ugly duckling. Realizing the potential of their change resolves setting up a company to improve the image of people with low self-esteem.
His self-confidence collapses when he becomes attract by his new client Ainsley, a beautiful and gourgeous girl, extremely shy and who wants to change her image to find a "man to marry".

Even though he is not on the same page as Ainsley, he begins to act like a teenager full of hormones and in every appointment that he has with the girl, he melts and sees several signs that she is interested also in him, believing that he is more and more in love.

As he does not date his clients, he looks forward to the end of classes to declare his love.
While this don't happen he went out with Mia, a latin girl, full of curves and smart that not to be melted by Luke's charm and along with Jared, one of his clients , they gave me some more hilarious moments .

The book surprised me as I had already said and from the middle to the end, the story transforms itself in such a way that it left me on the ground. The writer built the plot very well, and with simple and amusing language made me very excited to make Luke open his eyes and realize how he had everything he wanted right there in front of him.
