Kingdom #Resenha ARc Review
Synopsis
Kelly
Kavanagh was Liam’s happily ever after, his loyal princess. A
lifeline to something better than any high school dropout could ever
hope for…until the day she left to pursue a dream that didn’t
include him and slowly his kingdom crumbled to the ground.
Liam O’Connell was the sun to Kelly’s everlasting moon, her painted prince. A strong and devoted soul to fight the war she was slowly losing against herself…until his promises had become lies and her dream was the only way she would ever survive.
They have more than just miles and time between them now. The twin fortresses they’ve built around their hearts are next to impossible to scale. But, when two parallel fates collide in life and in death, will the impact be powerful enough to break down their self-imposed walls?
Every love story starts with Once Upon a Time, but in real life there are no fairytale endings, and the prince who rescues you...will never wear a crown.

Sinopse
Kelly
As

raiva guardados dentro deles. Uma verdadeira panela de pressão
prestes a explodir e que acaba explodindo.
O
sentimentos. O que me deixou mais angustiada ainda. O final foi
redentor e me deixou muito emocionada.
A

Review
Amanda
Johnson has a way of translating the feelings that makes the reader
feel perfectly the pain of the characters. In Kingdom, it was no
different, she brought to light all the drama experienced by Kelly
and Liam who started dating when they were teenagers and she ended
everything abruptly .
Kelly
always wanted to get away from her family and her city by falling in
love with Liam and getting near him she saw how he is his family
protector and provider, she feels loved because it just was not
enough to make her not take a difficult decision.
She
went to Los Angeles and changes her life, but not forgetting where
she left her heart.
With
the death of her father, she returns to the city and the reunion with
Liam is inevitable. They are still hurt by everything that happened
in the past is so fresh in their minds and they can not open their
hearts to forgiveness or reconciliation quietly, there is a lot of
hurt, rancor and anger inside them. A real pressure cooker about to
explode and it explodes and everything could change.
The
couple irritated me at various times and I wanted to get in the book
to give them a good spanking. They were very stubborn and could not
tell what they felt to each other or to anybody, I think even they
could not process all the feelings. Which made me even more
distressed. The end was redemptive and made me very excited and
emotional.
I loved the explanation for the title too much. She managed with much lyricism to convey a message of love and second chances.
The
participation of the characters from the previous book brought
lightness and dynamism to the story and now I'm looking forward to
Kieram's book.
