  • Love me in the Dark #Resenha ARC Review

    Synopsis
    Two strangers in Paris ...
    One passionate, earth-shattering kiss.

    He was the artist upstairs
with the tantalizing smile and laughing eyes.

He was the devil inviting me to sin,
seducing me to dance in the bright moonlight.

    He was desire and need.

When he touched me, my body sang.
    My soul came alive.

But I belonged to another man,
and he didn't want to let me go.

    Sinopse

Ele era o diabo me convidando a pecar,
Me seduzindo a dançar sob luar brilhante.

    Ele era desejo e necessidade.

Quando ele me tocou, meu corpo cantou.
    Minha alma ganhou vida.

Mas eu pertencia a outro homem,
E ele não queria me deixar ir.

    Resenha

    Review

When I saw this cover I did not resist picking up this book without reading the synopsis. It is so sexy and hot….OMG !!!!

Valentina believes she has done the right thing by getting married and staying married for many years with the husband of her dreams William, he is the enchanted prince that any girl dreamed until the day Valentina began to see that he was human like any other person and It upset her relationship with him. In an attempt to recommence, he organizes a trip to Paris and convinces her that there will be the zero point of their relationship. Away from everything and everyone, they will have the chance to reconnect as the beggining. Everything seems perfect until he calls explaining that there has been a change in plans.

Sebastien is a renowned plastic artist with a tragic and suffering past . He became a free spirit  , Seductive, debauched and bon vivant, he attracts women easily.
    It is sin in person.

Valentina is disappointed, needy and vulnerable, but since she is in the romantic Paris, she decides to enjoy the city. As she walks through the city of love, she goes on a journey of self-discovery, realizing how much she has annulled herself to please her husband and how much she has changed since dating him. In her tours, she meets Sebastien and from there she will perceive the life of another
    form.

The book brings a writing that bound me to know how these two lost souls in the dark would meet themself again and I marveled at the language full of metaphors, analogies and comparisons that made me plunge deep into the pain of the protagonists and gradually realize the barriers of them
dissolving and they finally fall in love.
Halfway through the book, I was distressed to know how it would all work out, because as she was still married and I was already in love with the main couple, I was afraid of what lay ahead. So far I was ready to give 6 /5 stars. The films chosen helped me to understand the plot even more and I was already in the clouds when Mia Asher pulled my carpet. At about this point enters the POV of William, which I thought changed several impressions and certainties that I had and I think this made me a bit sad, because in my opinion, it arrived a little late in the story and in a very strong way. The plot gives a great turnaround and in some points I kept wondering if I was reading another parallel plot and this reminded me of a movie with Reese Witherspoon that was not quoted and I can not tell which is because it would be a great spoiler. Although I really liked the ending and how Valentina got over it and Sebastien was cured, I wanted a slightly different development.
On behalf of the other half, I gave 4/5 stars.
