Gente! Eu já estava louca para terminar o livro e poder escrever este resenha, mas foram três semanas intensas de estudo e só pude descansar um pouco ontem e amanhã já recomeça tudo hehehehehe.....Então corri logo pra cá para mostrar meu queridinho da vez....

Beard in Mind

Conheci esta escritora lendo Dating-ish e virei fã da escrita e do estilo dela. Beard só veio reforçar mais ainda o quanto ela conquistou meu coração. O livro conta a história de amor de Beau e Shelly mas não foi só mais um romance divertido e gostoso ,foi muito mais que isso, foi um livro de alerta sobre como a mente humana é complexa e devemos entender ,ajudar e aceitar cada pessoa como ela é.

Beau tem um sério complexo de rejeição graças a um problema do passado e faz de tudo para ser notado pela bondade de seu coração. Ele é um verdadeiro príncipe encantado e encantador de conto de fadas, bonito, simpático, leal, gentil ,altruísta e sempre a postos para recuperar os carros quebrados de sua cidade. Ele é o oposto de seu irmão gêmeo Duane que é mais introspectivo e calado . O problema é que Duane encontrou sua cara metade e vai fazer uma viagem pela Itália com a amada Jess e isso gerou uma revolução na cabeça de rapaz .

Não só porque nunca se viu sem o irmão como também porque precisará cuidar da oficina apenas com seu outro irmão Cletus e precisarão contratar outro mecânico para dar conta da quantidade de serviço.

O livro começa com Beau contando que depois que viu os irmãos encontrando o amor que ele quer o mesmo e ele acha que encontrou isso com Darlene até ele chegar na oficina e se deparar com Shelly.

Shelly é estonteante ,de tirar o folêgo de qualquer homem porem não se derrete ao conhecer Beau pelo contrário, ela consegue extrair o lado negro do cara que para completar seu dia , acaba descobrindo da pior forma que a garota de gelo com palavras cortantes será a substituta de Duane.

Os dois até tentam se evitar mas a toda hora Shelly faz algo que complica a imagem da oficina frente a algum cliente e Beau fica num estado de alerta constante para evitar que ela atenda alguém. O que ele não imaginava era que essa garota de atitudes estranhas iria virar seu mundo de cabeça para baixo.

Narrado em primeira pessoa alternadamente por Beau e Shelly ,fui acompanhando a jornada de superação e crescimento de cada um deles e me apaixonando mais e mais a cada página lida. Principalmente com todos os quotes que abrem cada capítulo que iam desde Aristóteles a Stephen Hawking e me preparavam para o que viria pela frente. Destaque para um dos quotes que é de um livro que amo de paixão apaixonada : A Probabilidade Estatística do Amor a primeira Vista.

Agora me diga se tem como não virar fã?....Impossivelmente impossível .

Os são super bem construídos e participação dos outros irmãos e amigos trazem dinâmica a trama que não para em momento algum. Várias coisas vão acontecendo ao mesmo tempo e vão te prendendo à história desta Grande família Winston . Mesmo sendo um standalone ,ele deixa pontas abertas sobre a história dos outros irmãos e segredos da própria família que serão elucidados nos próximos capítulos desta série que bem merecia virar num seriado de TV.

Tambem não posso esquecer de falar que amei essas capas fofas.

People! I was already crazy to finish the book and to be able to write this review, but it was three intense weeks of study and I could only rest a little yesterday and tomorrow already resumes all hehehehehe ..... Then I ran right here to show my little darling ....

Beard in Mind

I knew this writer reading Dating-ish and became a fan of her writing and style. Beard only reinforced more why she had conquered my heart. The book tells the love story of Beau and Shelly but it was not just another fun and yummy romance, it was much more than that, it was an alert book about how the human mind is complex and we must understand, help and accept each person as she is.

Beau has a serious rejection complex thanks to a problem of the past and does everything to be noticed by the kindness of his heart. He is a true enchanted and charming prince from a fairy tale, handsome, sympathetic, loyal, kind, selfless and always ready to retrieve the broken cars of his city. He is the opposite of his twin brother Duane who is more introspective and silent. The problem is that Duane met his half and is going to make a trip through Italy with his beloved Jess and this generated a revolution in Beau’s head .

Not only because he has never seen himself without his twin, but also because he will need to take care of their auto shop with his other brother Cletus and they will have to hire another mechanic to handle the amount of service.

The book begins with Beau telling that after he saw some of his brothers finding true love he wants the same and he thinks he found it with Darlene until he gets to auto shop one day and comes across Shelly.

Shelly is stunning that take the breath of any man but does not melt when she meets Beau on the contrary, she can extract the dark side of the guy that to complete his day, ends up discovering in the worst way that the ice girl with sharp words will be the Duane's replacement.

The two even try to avoid each other but Shelly always does something that complicates the image of the auto shop in front of a client and Beau is in a constant state of alert to prevent her from reaching someone. What he did not realize was that this strange-looking girl would turn his world upside down.

Narrated in the first person alternately by Beau and Shelly, I followed the journey of overcoming and growing each one of them and falling more and more in love with each page read. Especially with all the quotes that open each chapter and were preparing me for what lay ahead. Highlight for one of the quotes that is from a book I love with passionate passion: The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight.

Now tell me if you can not become a fan? ... Impossibly impossible.

The plot is perfect well built and the participation of other brothers and friends brings dynamics to it and rhytm does not stop at any moment. A lot of things are going on at the same time and they are holding you back to the story of this great Winston family. Even being a standalone, it leaves open tips on the history of the other brothers and family secrets that will be elucidated in the next chapters of this series that well deserved to turn into a TV series.
