Já começo dizendo que peguei esse livro por causa desta capa tão fofa...Esse bebe é a coisa mais fofucha da face da terra.
Levi era piloto da Força Aérea
que precisou se afastar depois de descobrir que tinha uma filha e que a mãe, uma
garota que ele só viu uma vez, havia falecido. Ao se mudar para a pacata cidade
de Fortune ,ele tenta criar um clima familiar para sua bebê criando laços com a
comunidade e em seu trabalho porem não consegue segurar nenhuma babá. Desejando
ser um pai exemplar e presente, ele encontra em Carly, sua vizinha a solução
para seus problemas ou seria a criação de um
problema maior ainda para ele?
Com uma escrita leve e cheia
de romantismo, a escritora apresenta a história de amor de duas pessoas
sofridas e como a aproximação deles juntamente com a meiga e chorona Grace vai ajuda-los
a superar seus traumas e conquistar seus sonhos.
Amo histórias com bebês e
noivados falsos e adorei a forma como o ponto de conflito se resolve e como
Carly encontra a força que precisa dentro de si para enfrentar seus problemas
de frente sem recorrer a mentirinhas . Amei a presença marcante da avó de Grace que chega para dar uma
revira-volta boa na história.
Uma ótima leitura e perfeito
para românticas que sempre precisam curar suas ressacas com livros suspirantes.

Review
Levi was an Air Force pilot who had to move away after
discovering that he had a daughter and that her mother, a girl he had a one night
stand, had died. When moving to the quiet town of Fortune, he tries to create a
family atmosphere for his baby by creating bonds with the community and at work
but can not handle any nanny. Wanting to be an exemplary and present parent, he find in Carly, his neighbor the solution to
his problems…. or would this meeting be creating a bigger problem for him?
With a light writing and full of romanticism, the
writer presents the love story of two suffering people and how approaching them
along with the sweet and crying Grace will help them overcome their traumas and
conquer their dreams.
I love stories with babies and fake engagements and I
love how the point of conflict resolves and how Carly finds the strength she
needs within herself to face her problems head-on without resorting to lies. I
loved the remarkable presence of Grace's grandmother who arrives to give a good
turn-around in history.
A great read and perfect for romantics who always need
to heal hangover from readings.
