Nate Pearson is ridiculously handsome and wears the hell out of a suit and tie, but I’ve seen the parade of beautiful women leaving his apartment across the hall—a different one every time—and I want no part of it. When it comes to romance, I’m looking for something real, something that will last: the happily ever after. As a divorce attorney, he loves to tell me there’s no such thing. The only time we really get along is when we’re watching 007 flicks together, and I’ll admit—he has rescued me from a disaster or five. Because watching him with his daughter, I start to see another side of Nate, a side that has my breath coming faster, my body craving his, my heart longing for him to change his mind about love and tell me there’s a chance for us. I don’t want to be just another girl leaving his apartment in the morning. I want to be the one he asks to stay.

Nate Pearson é ridiculamente bonito e delicioso de terno e gravata, mas vejo o desfile de lindas mulheres saindo de seu apartamento pelo corredor - uma diferente a cada vez - e não quero fazer parte dessa lista. Quando se trata de romance, procuro algo real, algo que vai durar: o felizes para sempre . Como advogado de divórcio, ele gosta de me dizer que não há tal coisa. Como planejadora de casamento, escolho discordar. Não concordamos em quase nada na verdade. Nada exceto James Bond.

A única vez que realmente nos damos bem é quando estamos assistindo 007 juntos, e eu admitirei - ele me salvou de um desastre ou cinco. Então, quando uma de suas ex ficantes deixa uma garotinha em sua porta com uma nota que diz: "Eu voltarei para pegá-la" e ele me pede ajuda, não posso negá-la. Mas é um erro.

Por observá-lo com sua filha, eu começo a ver outro lado de Nate, um lado que tira minha respiração cada vez mais rápido, meu corpo ansiando por ele , meu coração desejando que ele mudasse de idéia sobre o amor e me contasse que há uma chance para nós. Eu não quero ser apenas uma outra garota deixando seu apartamento pela manhã. Eu quero ser a única que ele pede para ficar.

Se é Melanie Harlow é sucesso...Não tenho dúvida disso, ainda não li um livro dela que não tenha gostado e com Only You não foi diferente. Trazendo um cara irritantemente confuso e um garota lindamente doce, ela conta uma linda história de amor ,regada a noites callientes, bebê fofa e derretimento de geleira envolta do coração.

Nate e Emme não tem nada em comum, eles são vizinhos de corredor e Emme por ser bem atrapalhada acaba se metendo em confusões que Nate faz questão de salvar com seu ar de homem de ferro e coração de aço. Eles se divertem muito juntos mas não deixam a atração que sentem um pelo outro tomar conta pois sabem que tem objetivos de vida bem diferentes. Até o dia em que uma das garotas de Nate, deixa uma bebe em sua porta. Nate logo fica pirado ,sem saber como vai continuar com sua vida de advogado atarefado e suas aventuras sexuais ai desta vez é Emme quem vem em sua socorro e a conexão entre eles que já era forte aumenta exponencialmente juntamente com o amor por Paisley.

Como nada é tão simples, os demônios que estavam guardados numa caixa lá no fundo do coração de Nate ressurgem dispostos a atrapalhar o casal.

O livro é super rápido de ler, Melanie faz a gente torcer por Emme a cada complicação de Nate e o final é mais que suspirante.

Amei demais a escolha da capa, ficou perfeita para o livro. Só não dei todas as estrelas porque realmente Nate me irritou boa parte do livro , mas essa parte foi compensada por Emme e suas irmãs que trouxeram dinamismo e humor à trama.

Amei a escolha do título e como ele se encaixou na história, claro que lembrei da música Only You do The Platters e a coloquei para ouvir diversas vezes durante a leitura.

If it's Melanie Harlow for sure it is success ... I have no doubt of that, I have not read a book of hers that I did not like and with Only You was no different. Bringing an annoyingly confused dude and a beautifully sweet girl, she tells a great love story, watered by sleepless sexy nights, fluffy baby and melting glacier wrapped around the guy’s heart.

Nate and Emme have almost nothing in common, they are hallway neighbors and Emme for being well cluttered ends up getting into confusions that Nate makes a point of saving with his armour and steel heart. They have a lot of fun together but they do not let the attraction they feel for each other take care of them because they know they have very different life goals. Until the day that one of Nate's girls leaves a baby at his door. Nate soon gets pissed off, not knowing how he will continue with his busy lawyer life and his sexual adventures and this time it is Emme who comes to his rescue and the connection between them that was already strong increases exponentially along with the love for Paisley.

As nothing is so simple, the demons that were kept in a box deep in Nate's heart come back to disrupt the couple.

The book is super quick to read, Melanie makes people cheer for Emme with every complication of Nate behavior and thanks to God the end is more than sighing.

I loved the choice of the cover, it was perfect for the book. I just did not give all stars because really Nate annoyed me much of the book, but that part was offset by Emme and her sisters who brought dynamism and humor to the plot.

I loved the choice of the title and how it fit the story, of course I remembered the song Only You by The Platters and put it to listen several times during the reading.
