Review

I love the light, fun and cute stories on the Hallmark Channel and being able to find stories of this style in books is a dream come true. But this time the plot didn't have the impact I expected, I don't know if it's a much repeated cliché of a commoner who falls in love with the prince and I expected something more and different, or because I didn't connect with the female protagonist.

My luck is that the prince and his daughter are adorable together, the conversations between them, the affection they have for each other really steals the show. I was surprised with the queen mother too and the scenes with her are also wonderful, my favorite was the scene that involves her granddaughter and a bathtub. Hilarious!!!

Eu amo as histórias leves, divertidas e fofinhas do Hallmark Channel e poder encontrar histórias deste estilo nos livros é um sonho se tornando realidade. Porem desta vez a trama não teve o impacto esperado pela minha pessoa, não sei se por ser um clichê muito repetido de plebeia que se apaixona pelo príncipe e eu esperava algo mais e diferente ou pelo fato de eu não ter conectado com a protagonista.

Minha sorte é que o príncipe e a filha dele são adoráveis juntos, os diálogos entre eles, o carinho que tem um com o outro realmente rouba a cena. Me surpreendi com a rainha mãe e as cenas com ela tambem são maravilhosas, a minha preferida foi a cena que envolve a neta e uma banheira.
