Kit is a man marked by the past, after being shown by his mother as a trophy for most of his life, he decided that he did not want to live in the London or live with the high society, because of this he decides to join his best friend and builds yachts in Bristol. When he arrives, he is already faced with Syliva, a girl who snubbed him at his brother's wedding .

Sylvia was charmed by Kit from the first moment she saw him but his fame made her want to saty away from him for fear of falling in love and end up suffering. But when fate puts them in front of each other again, it will be difficult to hide this passion.

Little by little, they are approaching and realizing that the impression and the image they had of each other was totally wrong and that both combine a lot.

Mixing up a good suspense with romance and a good touch of comedy, Stephanie Laurens has created an engaging plot that has conquered me since the first pages. With every created situation I felt even more attached to the book and when the end came, I was sighing wanting more.

I loved it too much as she changed that image of characters strongly moved by physical passion and created a story with more moments of conquest, waiting and anticipation.

Kit é um homem marcado pelo passado, depois de ser exibido pela mãe como um troféu por boa parte da vida, ele decidiu que não queria viver nas temporadas de Londres nem conviver com a alta sociedade, por conta disso decide se unir ao melhor amigo e montar uma empresa de construção de barcos em uma cidade do interior da Inglaterra. Lá chegando ele já se depara com a decicida Syliva, garota que o esnobou na festa de casamento de seu irmão .

Sylvia se encantou por Kit desde o primeiro instante que o viu porem a fama dele a fez querer se afastar por medo de se apaixonar e acabar sofrendo. Porem quando o destino os colocam de frente um ao outro de novo, será dificil esconder esta paixão.

Aos poucos, eles vão se aproximando e percebendo que a impressão e a imagem que tinham um do outro era totalmente errada e que ambos combinam bastante.

Misturando um bom suspense com romance e boa dose de comédia, Stephanie Laurens criou uma trama envolvente que me conquistou desde as primeiras páginas. A cada situação criada eu me sentia mais presa ainda ao livro e quando chegou o final, fiquei suspirante querendo mais.

Adorei demais como ela mudou um pouco aquela imagem de personagens movidos fortemente pela paixão física e criou uma história com mais momentos de conquista, espera e de antecipação.
